"Jeepin"

She is so obviously a Goar child. Loves cars and it's pink! Yea
Dylan on a dad day. (clearly, look how she's dressed)

The reeason for my absence.....

Ok....so it's been awhile since i've blogged and let me just tell you for those of you who don't know. I'm pregnant and sicker than a dog! Yes, it's been so bad that sitting upright at my computer is a task in itself. Don't ask how i've been working, the only think i can think of is i must have God on my side those 3 days. I'm 10 weeks and willing myself along each day knowing there is a light at the end of the toilet...er...tunnel. Also, it helps to know my prize at the end of the 9 months, yet i find myself wondering how amazing the human mind is to forget such misery baby after baby to allow us to keep doing it? Who knows? More importantly what is my 2 year old thinking? Probably why is my mom in bed all day? She thinks life is a free for all now because know matter how many times she drags out my 50 pairs of high heels and wears them around the house i really don't care. Anyway, that's pretty much the last 5 weeks of my life. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know i will since mashed potatoes and gravy is the one thing i might actually be able to eat!!!

Tiff's 28th b-day!

This was one of the funnest night i have had in a long time. I had all of my peeps with me on my 28th birthday. We went to dinner and after went to liquid joe's. We danced all night. Thanks guys for making it such a memerable birthday. I love ya all!!!!

"B" and "D" chillin.

This day Rick had both the girls all day while I was in New York. Dyl thought it was the funnest thing to have her best friend "B" hang out with her all day. It's so funny how even though Brooklyn is only 4 months younger, Dylan treats her like a little sis.

The BIG 5

Saturday August 16, Rick and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. We went to the Melting pot which was so-so. Neither of us will go back i don't think but it was nice to have a dinner at a nice restaraunt where your biggest concern wasn't what was on the kids menu. Dylan got to go to her favorite uncle Tony and aunt Jo-Jo's to play with Brooklyn. She loved that!!! Anyways, cheers to 5 whole years.

A little sample of Dylan's vocab lately, i'll translate the best I can.

Hee-haw (motorcycle)

Pee-paw (chapstick)

Bobbie (barbie)

No Mama! (well you know)

Move Mama (my personal fave)

Yessie ( uncle Jesse)

Kiki (Keely)

Owie (Owen)

Pase (Page)

Mi (Miles)

Dyan (herself)

Asro (Astro)

Himming-hoo (swimming suit)

Oh and this is really funny. So Sunday we were at my mom and dads for breakfast and my dad told Dylan that he would buy her a car (hotwheel) for her birthday so later that day when we were asking her how old she would be on her birthday she said "Car!!!!" So now if you ask her how old she is going to be she simply says "2 car". Good job honey your just like you Mom!!!!!

Bear Lake

Yea! Bear Lake was a hit! We went to Bear lake over Raspberry days with our best friends/fam The Bumas. The last time we were in Bear lake all of us was when all the girls were pregnant and here we were are all again with those 2 year olds! It was so fun! Rick and I were a little worried because we have a child that refuses to sleep anywhere but the comfort of her own bed but she did really good! She slept everynight between Rick and I and slept quite soundly actually. We swam, four-wheeled and just basically relaxed. There is something so memorable and sappy about all the summers I spent at this old cabin as a little girl and now all these years later, here I am with my little girl. Thanks Bumas for all the fond memories! I love you guys!

First haircut!!!

Dylan got her first haircut a couple weeks ago and by the way just because her mom does hair does not mean she enjoyed it anymore than any other child, which is precisely why I don't bend over backwards to cut kids hair. I thought with me and Rick's texture of hair she will be perfect for the little "suri bob" (You know the haircut that a 3 year old has inspired 40 year old housewives everywhere to request from there stylists.) Anyways not the case with Dylan, I cut it, roundbrushed it out and took her home for a nap. Fast foward 3 hours I go in to get her up and because she was hot and sweaty she now had a mini-fro. So much for the sleek, straight hair I thought she had.

Seriously. After a long day at the zoo, i ponder the quesion of returning. It was hot, stinky and crowded. Dylan was totally over it, being that all she could see was the ladies legs in front of her. We quickly passed by the animals heading right for the train ( or doo-doo as Dylan calls it). Rick and I thought we had hit the jackpot until 10 minutes into a 40 minute wait we had the meltdown of the century. We got out of line and packed it up. We were out of there. I dont think I will be back until there is about 1,000 less people!

Question. Do any of these pictures represent a child that is overwhelmed with excitement for the zoo?

The salon in all her glory.

The Curtis's and us did the "Race for the cure" Dylan raised over a thousand dollars!! Go teeny! She was racing in memory of her great aunt Kelly and in celebration of her great aunts Gina and Vicki. As you can see she rode comfortably in the charriot while i did all the work! Too much excercise for moi.

Weekend of May 18th. A nice girls weekend in L.A. for a little R and R. Missed the baby like crazy. It's still hard to leave her even for just a weekend and she's almost 2!!!!!!
