New York

Last week I went to New York for the sixth time in a row, and of all those years this was only my second time being there strictly for fun. I had a lot to catch up on in 4 days. Britny, Tori and I left thursday morning on the red-eye( brutal). Tori had never been and I always love going with a "virgin". We were staying with a mutual friend and Brit's client, Brittany. For anyone that has ever been to New york, to have somewhere to stay for free is AMAZING! Let me just say, going during the holidays is so beautiful. The windows, the lights and most importantly, the tree. We really wanted to see a show but didn't plan for it, so Sunday afternoon we went to the time square ticket stand and got tickets to the show we wanted and at half price! Score! I highly recommend "In the heights" I absolutely loved it! Sushi Samba had amazing sushi, POP Burger for burgers and a D.J spinning hip-hop (Brit was in heaven). And of course, Rosa Mexicano for mexican and margaritas. Yum....Once again NYC did not disappoint, and to be there with two of my girlfriend hanging out and dancing like we used to do in the ol' days. Thanks girls! Love ya!

New Moon Madness/small In-n-out rant and rave

Yes, although I secretly admit it, I'm way excitrd for New Moon. "The girls and I" are hitting the noon showing today. Yay for Jacob. Now if only I could find a way to sneak in a big, beefy burger from In-n-out I would be 100% ridiculous. Utahns have had a history of going overboard or jumping on bandwagons before (usually when it comes to food or somethimg free) but this is over the top. While risking my life yesterday I manuevered myself through the gridlock in Draper to get to my mom's to pick up the girls, and the police force there to direct traffic and control the crowd, really people? Ugh! Ok, off my rant now. Have a great Sunday.............

Coming back....

After nearly a year of absolutely no blogging I have decided to return. I have been on the facebook bandwagon and although i'ts nice for staying in touch I need something to journal all of those life moments that go on everyday with two little girls. If only I could stop time now and again. As I look back on a year ago and my last post I realize how much Dylan has changed and grown. She is 3 years old now and could be going on 13, seriously. Elle is 5 months old and growing like crazy! She weighed 15 pounds at her 4 month appointment. She is such a good baby, always smiling and talking. She lets her big sister yank on her arms and maul her and she just looks up at her with all the admiration in the world for her. This blog will serve as somewhat of a journal for me with the girls but also little tidbits of the things in life I love most.
Peace
